How to Remove Water Spots From Auto Glass

It might be a hassle to deal with water stains on your car's windows, but there are ways to get rid of them. What you'll need:

  • Lemon or vinegar juice
  • Flouring agent
  • Water
  • A dependable spray bottle
  • An excellent microfiber cloth
  • Locate a decent, shaded parking space first. The reason is that you don't want your cleaning solution to dry out too quickly in the sun.
  • Wash your glass well with a mild soap and water solution. Any stains or dirt are removed by doing this.
  • Select your preferred weapon from the following list:

Vinegar Method

Fill your spray container with an equal mixture of vinegar and water. Spray those water stains thoroughly and wait for a few minutes as the magic happens. After that, take a fresh microfiber cloth and remove any stains.

Lemon Juice Tip

Cut a lemon in half and thoroughly scrub any water stains. Before wiping away the lemon juice with a fresh microfiber cloth, let it sit for a while.

Baking Soda Power

If those wet spots are proving difficult to remove, keep trying your selected technique or combine it with others. Rinse the glass completely in clean water to remove any remaining cleaning agents. To complete the process, dry your glass thoroughly with your dependable microfiber towel

Some advice

Be careful when using acidic solutions, such as vinegar or lemon juice, as they can be somewhat damaging to glass if used improperly. When using any cleaning product, make sure to rinse the glass thoroughly to get rid of any remaining residue by performing a tiny test on a concealed part of the glass first.

If erasing those wet patches is proving challenging, keep attempting your chosen approach or mixing it with others.

To get rid of any leftover cleaning agents, thoroughly rinse the glass in clean water, but make sure it does not develop scratches. To finish the procedure, completely dry your glass with your trusty microfiber towel.

A word of caution

Use caution when applying acidic substances to glass, such as vinegar or lemon juice, as they might cause some minor damage if applied inappropriately. Perform a little test on a hidden area of the glass before using any cleaning product to ensure that you properly rinse the glass to remove any residue.
